The topic of the meeting will be development and change within our neighborhood.
Join us to learn more about planned rental and retail development in Garden Court, improvements related to the Spruce Street and 52nd Street commercial districts, how Garden Court Community Association participates in the zoning and development process, and how you can get involved in shaping our neighborhood, over time.
We’ll have a panel of speakers comprised of developers and community and economic development professionals in our area, who will speak of how our blocks and commercial districts are changing. Our panel will include representation from:
Post Brothers, the new owners of Garden Court Plaza
The Enterprise Center CDC, a community development organization focused on the revitalization of commercial districts in Garden Court and Walnut Hill
Strong Place Partners, the owner and developer of the former West Philadelphia High Property
The GCCA Zoning Committee, which handles zoning variances and community engagement for all development in our area
The panel will be moderated by Jamie Gauthier, outgoing president of GCCA
